Nørrebro Klatreklubs BaNanna-udvalg inviterer til Bananna Open 2026!
Lørdag d. 29. August er BaNanna-væggen igen klar til en hyggelig lead-konkurrence i solen.
Konkurrencen er for alle, der har gyldigt K2-bevis og er medlem af Klatring Danmark! Man behøver ikke være pro-klatrer for at være med, da der kommer til at være ruter fra ~5c og op (de hårdeste ruter sættes udfra deltagerlisten).
FORMAT
Total-rute med efterfølgende onsight-finale. De bedste klatrere kvalificerer sig til finalen, som er opdelt i en dame- og en herrekategori.
Alle deltagere er velkomne til at kvalificere sig til den finale, de identificerer sig mest med!
PROGRAM
10.00 - 11.00 - indskrivning
11.00 - 16.00 - kvalifikation
16:00 - 18:00 - hygge og øl i solen
18:00 - 20.00 - finaler
DELTAG
Pris for klatrende deltagere: 100 kr.
Tilskuere og belayere: gratis!
Max. 80 klatrende deltagere.
Tilmelding sker via linket i toppen af denne tekst, og løber t.o.m. søndag d. 23. august (såfremt de er pladser tilbage, kan man melde sig til fysisk på konkurrencedagen).
OBS: vi genbruger nogle af ruterne fra lead cup #1 (22. august), men lead cup-deltagere er stadig VELKOMNE til at deltage her!
De klatrere som deltager begge konkurrencer går blot glip af muligheden for flash-point på de 3-4 ruter, de allerede har prøvet til lead cup, men kan stadig få point for redpoint på disse.

BaNanna Open is back!!
The BaNanna committe is happy to announce BaNanna Open 2026, set for Saturday, August 29, where the BaNanna Park wall is once again ready for a fun day of lead competitions in the sun.
The competition is open to everyone with a valid K2 (lead climbing) certificate and a membership to Klatring Danmark. You do not need to be a pro climber to participate, since there's going to be routes from ~5c and up (the hardest routes will be set according to the participant level).
FORMAT
The format is a “total route” format (participants climb simultaneously and keep scores themselves) followed by onsight finales. The best climbers qualify for the finales, which are split in a women's and men's category.
All participants are free to qualify themselves to the category they identify the most with!
PROGRAM
10.00 - 11.00 - check-in
11.00 - 16.00 - qualifications
16:00 - 18:00 - beers and fun in the sun
18:00 - 20.00 - finales
PARTICIPATE
Price for climbing participants: 100 kr.
Spectators and designated belayers: free!
Max 80 climbing participants.
Sign-up via the link at the top of this text before or on Sunday, August 23 (if there are slots left you may sign up in person on the day of the competition).
**NOTE**: we will be reusing some of the routes from the lead cup (august 22), but this competition is still OPEN for lead cup participants.
Climbers who participate both competitions will simply miss the opportunity for flash points on the 3-4 routes they have already attempted at the lead cup, but may still obtain redpoint points for these.
