come tour bavaria and bamberg, germany, and follow in the footsteps of bierkeller owner and founder, scott burgess. bierkeller will be leading a small group on our first ever tour of bavaria and bamberg from 21-28 may, 2026.

your trip includes 3 nights each in munich and bamberg; side trips to the hallertau hop region; brewery, maltings, and hop farm tours; and nightly reservations at world-renowned bier spots such as the spezial keller, the hofbräuhaus, and the schlenkerla tavern.

the price includes all local and regional train, bus, and underground transport; all accommodations; breakfast every day; dinner (including 2 beers); organized tour tickets; and guided instruction and history tours.

day 1 will be spent together at the world-class augustiner keller. drink the world's best helles lagerbier poured direct from the 200 liter wooden barrel with a few 100 of the locals.

day 2: classic munich bier taverns. enjoy a weisswurst breakfast at schneider weissbier brauhaus, followed by a free afternoon to explore, followed by dinner and beers at the hofbräuhaus.

day 3: classic munich biergartens. we start at the chinesischer turm in the englischer garten followed by free exploration and dinner at the local-favorite hirschgarten biergarten.

day 4: travel from munich to bamberg via high-speed ICE train. evening dinner, with smoke beers, at the schlenkerla tavern.

day 5: bamberg bierkellers: visit a couple of the most famous – and personal favorite – bamberg bierkellers, spezial and wilde rose. free or guided exploration of bamberg

day 6: bamberg taverns: visit the classic bamberg breweries, mahrs and keesmann, and enjoy meals and beers with the bamberg locals.

day 7: travel from bamberg to munich airport area via high-speed ICE train and wind down with dinner and final beers.
