Bambara Drum & Dance Ensemble: Legacy Conference

The 1st annual Legacy Conference will celebrate African American women who have been teaching African dance for decades. The conference will open with a panel discussion focused on past and present impressions of instruction and performance in the various styles of African Dance. Following the panel, prominent women teachers and choreogrphers of Diaspora Dance facilitate workshops.
