Švęsdami Baltijos Kelią bėgsime sujungdami tris Baltijos tautoms svarbias vietas Čikagoje: Lietuvos Generalinis konsulatas, Latvių kultūros centras, Estų konsulatas Winetkoje, Estų Namai Riverwoods. Visa distancija - 36 myliosTikimės kartu su mumis bėgs latvių ir estų atstovai.This year marks 36 years since the historic Baltic Way took place on August 23, 1989, when two million people joined hands across Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia in a peaceful demonstration for freedom and unity.
To honor this powerful act of solidarity, we will run a symbolic route connecting key locations representing the Baltic nations in the Chicago area:
- The Consulate General of Lithuania
- The Latvian Cultural Center
- The Estonian Consulate in Winnetka
- The Estonian House in Riverwoods
The total distance of the route is approximately 36 miles, echoing the 36 years since the Baltic Way and the enduring strength of our shared values.
We warmly invite representatives of the Latvian and Estonian communities to join us in this commemorative event and stand together in unity.
