Ballot Talk: Pros & Cons of the 2024 Measures

What is the best way to understand the November ballot questions? 

Examine the pros and cons of the ballot measures for the city and county of San Diego, and the state of California.This year we’ll discuss:

• sales taxes
• ethics
• climate bonds
• rent control
• voting thresholds
• the right to marry 
• and other topics. 

The League will describe what each measure would do and review what supporters and opponents say about them. 

A question and answer session will follow the presentation.
