Mingle with professionals across the museum field while enjoying the newest exhibit at Visions Museum of Textile Art. All ages are welcome to attend this is a free event!

The San Diego Museum Council (SDMC) is one of the nation’s largest collaborations of its type with more than 80 museums and cultural institutions throughout San Diego County and 30 affiliated museums and galleries in Tijuana/Baja. Together, we work to promote and connect the region’s museums, nurture and advocate for the arts and culture community, and increase accessibility for all communities through economic barrier-reducing programs like Museum Month each February and Kids Free San Diego in October.

Visions Museum of Textile Art (VMOTA) is thrilled to announce the opening of its groundbreaking new exhibion, Latine Entretejida/Interwoven. This exhibion showcases the vibrant and innovative textile works of Latine artists from both San Diego and Tijuana, marking a significant cultural collaboration as part of the World Design Capital 2024 celebrations.
