BALLET - THE MAKING OF AN ÉTOILE | Kids Guided Tour (EN)

The Ballet of the Opéra national de Paris is one of the most famous ballet companies in the world! At the Palais Garnier and the Opéra Bastille, dancers perform beautiful ballets filled with music, costumes, and magic.

But before stepping onto the stage, dancers must train every day. At the Dance School, they learn ballet positions, practise movements, and work hard to become stronger, more graceful, and more confident. Little by little, they can grow from young dancers into great Ballet Étoiles!

In this exhibition, children will discover the hidden world behind the curtain: rehearsal studios, costumes, tutus, stage makeup, and the amazing workshops where everything is prepared before a performance begins. They will follow the journey of a dancer from the classroom to the spotlight and explore the magical backstage world of the Paris Opera Ballet.

To make the visit even more fun, each child will receive a special activity booklet filled with games, challenges, and little ballet missions, allowing them to become a little dancer of the Opéra for the day!
