Ballet Taos will tumble down the rabbit hole to close its 2025–26 season with the fantastical full-length ballet ‘The Adventures of Alice’, a dazzling reimagining of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.
Step into a world where teacups twirl, clocks tick backward, and tutus shimmer with steampunk flair! ‘The Adventures of Alice’ whirls to life with playful choreography, extravagant sets and projections, and a delightfully whimsical score by Herbert Baumann. Featuring more than 35 local dancers from The Ballet Taos Academy, this enchanting production invites you to giggle with Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum, race alongside The White Rabbit, sip tea with The Mad Hatter, and beware the fiery temper of The Queen of Hearts. You’ll even be treated to a live reading of Carroll’s beloved Jabberwocky poem—and a few surprises along the way!
