Dance at Dare Arts this summer! Colette Walker will lead a special dance camp for kids ages 12-17 the week of July 9-12. Class will be held in Dare Arts Courtroom Gallery from 5:30pm to 7pm each day. In this camp, students will explore the foundations of classical ballet and jazz.
No previous dance experience needed. All levels of students are welcome.
Class Schedule:
- Tuesday: Ballet
- Wednesday: Jazz
- Thursday: Ballet
- Friday: Jazz
Attire:
Ballet: Leotard and pink tights, ballet shoes. Hair pulled back in bun or ponytail.
Jazz: Leotard, shorts, tights optional, ballet shoes or jazz shoes. Hair pulled back in bun or ponytail.
Cost: $60 per student. Payment must be made in advance via credit card online at DareArts.org/workshops.
Preregistration is required. This camp is open to kids ages 12-17 years old and is limited to 10 students.
Cancellation policy: Registrations cannot be transferred to future workshops. No-shows will not receive a refund. If you need to cancel for any reason, we will only refund you if we are able to fill the spot. If we are forced to reschedule/cancel the workshop for any reason, we will contact you directly about the new date or refund.
Instructor Bio: Colette joins us with 28 years of teaching experience, including a dance minor from Western Kentucky University and a focus in classical ballet training, a love for broadway jazz as well as other forms of dance such as lyrical and tap.
