Join us for a relaxed and social urban hike through the charming regional city of Ballarat. This scenic, mostly flat walk begins at Ballarat Train Station and takes us on a gentle journey towards and around the picturesque Lake Wendouree. Along the way, we’ll pass the beautiful Ballarat Botanical Gardens, the historic train depot, and the Ballarat 1956 Olympic Venue Memorial.The hike will take approximately 2–2.5 hours at a comfortable pace, with plenty of opportunities to take in the sights and enjoy the surroundings. After working up an appetite, we’ll wind down with a well-earned lunch at The Deck Ballarat.
Transport
We’ll be travelling to Ballarat by train. Detailed meeting time and location information will be shared with everyone who books.
