This workshop is perfect for dancers who love intricate footwork, bold isolations, and vibrant stage presence. Together, we’ll bring this joyful choreography to life!
Workshop Details:
🎶 What to Expect:
Learn the Balkanica choreography, filled with exciting movements, unique transitions, and expressive energy.
Deepen your technique and performance skills while exploring the fusion of traditional and modern dance styles.
Develop musicality and stage presence to shine on stage.
Combinations and choreography will be broken down in the first half. In the second half of the workshop, we will work on formations.
Lunch break will be from 12-1.
📋 Requirements:
It is a level 2.5 choreography that has spins!
Must be a current bellydance student.
Must attend workshop and subsequent rehearsals. Price includes workshop and all rehearsals. Rehearsal dates TBD.
📅 Performance Opportunities:
Dancers will perform Balkanica at the Queen City Shimmy Night on February 8th in Charlotte and the Just Dance Showcase in November. Additional dance opportunities might arise.
