Balkan folk dances for Dublin Hiking & Social Events group - class & social

You are curious about Balkan folk dances and culture, or you would just like to learn something new, or surprise someone with an unusual gift? Balkan folk dances are chain dances with repetitive steps where no partner is required. The movements follow natural style of both men and women. So, guys, there are no funny hips moves!

This ticket gives you one more FREE visit by the end of the year. Some snacks and bottled water are included.

What to expect in the class (duration 1h) :

• Basic exercises and music for warm up.
• Break down and practise some basic steps / combinations.
• Learn a few dances - some are with very easy combinations, others might be a bit more complicated. You can participate as you wish.
  The evening will continue with social dance part (duration 30 min).:
• We can practise some of the dances without detailed explanations.
• Socialise or learn more advanced dances .

What to wear:

Please bring a clean pair of soft shoes that you will use only in the studio (trainers are ok, or others that are not with hard sole. They don't have to be special dance shoes). Dancing barefoot or with socks is not suitable.
