Many traditions offer techniques and philosophical frameworks, and the Dharma Śūnya contains endless treasures of that kind. Yet this book does not dwell on methodology. Instead, it looks at how we approach those methods. It asks what attitudes shape our longing, what subtle stories guide our rituals, and how our earnest desire for transcendence can quietly turn into another performance, another role, another way of avoiding the intimacy of our own being.

We will explore how Balinese Tantric insights on remembrance and forgetting resonate with depth psychology, how the mind constructs distance, how longing pulls us home, and how silence teaches more than any doctrine.
