The Baldock Community Fireworks team are delighted to announce that the 2024 Display will be going ahead at a new venue: Letchworth Eagles Football Club.This is a new location for the Fireworks after St Mary’s was no longer available and unfortunately there are not many local options that are appropriate size-wise in Baldock or that were interested in hosting. The team have worked hard to ensure that the new venue is as close to the town centre as possible and Eagles’ grounds are located only 1 mile away from the High Street.
Before anyone comments negatively or criticises this decision, please know that this event is run entirely by volunteers who take no personal cut and have been thwarted in every effort this year to keep the display in Baldock itself. The business of running fireworks displays is very complicated and involves a huge amount of work (and paperwork!), all voluntary, and we hope that attendees will be interested in coming down and supporting a local sports club. Hosting at the LGC Eagles Football Ground represents a great opportunity to partner with a local grassroots organisation that many of the young people of Baldock and Letchworth play for and to raise essential funds to keep membership fees and kit costs as low as possible, and in the general running of a large club.
As in previous years, additional charities and groups will be invited to partner with us also to support their fundraising activities.
Other than the display itself, we will have lots of live music to enjoy, the food and drink options and fairground that you have come to expect and we look forward to seeing you there!

Early bird purchasing options are available. Book before 15th October to secure tickets at the discounted price of £8 pp instead of £10 in advance and £12 on the door.
