Balboa Workshop: From Solo Technique to Partner Connection
Advertisement
This 2-hour workshop is designed to bridge the gap between individual movement and partnered dancing.
Hour 1 - Solo Practice & Personal Technique
We'll focus on how to train on your own with intention. Topics include posture, balance, turns, styling, and adding texture to your movement. You'll learn how to practice efficiently so your dancing becomes more controlled, expressive, and grounded, even without a partner.
Hour 2 - Partnered Application
We'll take those same concepts and apply them directly to partnered movements and sequences. The goal is to maintain your quality of movement while staying connected, responsive, and clear with your partner.
After the workshop, stay for White Heat social dancing and put everything into practice on the floor.
Pricing: $45 in Adv (by 6/26) / $55 (after 6/26)
