It's Balboa time! A group of us are getting together to dance some Balboa, and if you're a Bal dancer, we'd love to have you come join us.
To be clear, this is for people who already dance some Balboa. There will not be a beginner lesson. From 3:00 to 3:30 there will be a mini lesson, and we'll be doing the "long arm" toss-out, a toss-out variation where the lead's right hand connects with the follow's left hand. Please be ready to start the lesson at 3:00. Or you can come at 3:30, when the social dancing will start.
COVID isn't over and dancing is a high risk activity, so masks are still required in the studio. There will be some available if you need one.
Cost: $10 per person, cash or e-transfer.
Location: 1574 Walkley Road, second floor (entrance is at the back). There is free parking at the back and at the little strip mall next door.
A note about the venue: there are some signs still for DanceTown Studio. It's is no longer in operation, but there is still a studio there, under different management, and many of the DanceTown signs are still up.
