About this Event
What does a Balanced Life look like?
Here at the School of Philosophy, we believe our courses have something to offer when it comes to living a more balanced life.
But we also know - especially through listening to our students - there are many different views on what a balanced life looks like. And just as many ways of achieving it.
So, as part of our celebrations of 50 years of service in Hertfordshire, we thought we'd ask you, our community.
- What for you does "a balanced life" look like?
- What have you discovered or found helpful?
- In what ways are you currently seeking a better balance in your life?
To share experiences, we're hosting an open meeting on Tuesday November 26th at St Albans Girls' School, 7-8.30pm.
Whether you're looking to improve your work-life balance, mental health, or overall well-being, this event is for you.
We won't be pushing any agenda or advocating a particular approach. In fact, we're not planning to say much at all!
This is your chance to share insights and experience with others. Our role will just be to facilitate the discussion.
If you wish to share your personal journey, please come along. Stories are invaluable and there could be someone in the room who really benefits from hearing yours.
Those seeking inspiration from a supportive and open discussion are also welcome to join.
If you can't come along - or even if you can - you're welcome to take part in this simple and anonymous . It's a way of gathering experiences from as many people as we can. The results of the survey will be shared at the meeting and, afterwards, here on our website.
