Baked Goods Auction at the Allegany County Fair

The Baked Goods Auction is one of the sweetest traditions of the Ag Expo. After being judged in the Ag Expo competitions, many of the award-winning cakes, pies, cookies, breads, and other homemade treats are auctioned to the public, giving attendees the opportunity to take home delicious creations while supporting a great cause.
Proceeds from the auction benefit the Ag Expo Scholarship Fund, which provides financial assistance to local youth as they pursue their educational goals and future careers. In 2025 alone, the Baked Goods Auction raised more than $7,000 for scholarships.
