Are you a nature lover? 🌱 Like you - we feel incredibly fortunate to live in this beautiful corner of the world!
In 2025, we’re continuing the amazing mahi already done by hundreds of volunteers. Can you contribute a few hours on 22 or 23 July to help us fill bait stations on Karioi?
Join us on an important mission that’s always rewarded with… cake!
No prior experience is necessary – just a willingness to get involved, and a love for nature! Whether you're a seasoned environmentalist or simply someone who wants to give back to the planet, we welcome you to join us.
However, a reasonable level of fitness is necessary because tracks can be uneven and steep at times, and you’ll be carrying a backpack with up to about 10kg of bait (until you start deploying it!). Saying that we’ve had volunteers ranging from 15 to 75 in the past! (We can match track difficulty levels to the perfect volunteer for the job.)
Dates: Many days coming up - sign up for one or many of them!!
Time: Meet at 8 am. Finish between 1 and 3 pm
What to Bring: Sturdy shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, a water bottle, lunch, and enthusiasm!
