Join us in September for our Grand Final long weekend escape to East Gippsland. Staying in Bairnsdale, we’ll tackle a varied mix of day hikes that show off East Gippsland’s landscapes and history, with plenty of time to relax afterwards.
ACCOMMODATION
We’ll be staying in cabins at NRMA Bairnsdale Riverside Holiday Park, booked by the club.
The option to arrange your own accommodation will only open once the club cabins are fully booked. If this happens, please note in your booking if you’re interested in sharing so the leader can help connect people.
ITINERARY
Friday – East Gippsland Discovery Trail 23 km | ~6 hours
Saturday – Mitchell River Gorge walk 17.7 km | ~5 hours
Sunday – East Gippsland Rail Trail 13 km | ~3.5 hours
