Think you can make it across the farm without touching the "lava"? Join us for a fun outdoor challenge designed to get kids moving, thinking, and working together!
This hands-on activity will take place in our front learning area and is a great opportunity to meet other homeschool families and experience a little Bailey Homestead fun.

🐐 Farm School: Life With Goats @11:45
Goats are curious, intelligent, and full of personality! This month, Farm School is all about learning what it takes to care for these amazing homestead animals.
Students will learn:
🐐 Common goat terms and farm vocabulary
🐐 How to identify different goat breeds and their characteristics
🐐 The basic needs of goats, including shelter, water, and daily care
🐐 What goats eat and how proper nutrition keeps them healthy
🐐 Goat behavior and why they do some of the funny things they do
🐐 Safe handling practices and responsible livestock ownership
🐐 Four basic knots commonly used around the farm for working with livestock
🐐 Real-life homestead goat care
This class combines hands-on learning, discussion, observation, and practical homesteading skills to help children better understand farm animals and life on the homestead.
