Feeling stiff while dancing? Stuck in a rut with your basic? Need some inspiration to move more freely? This is for you!
Join Jasmine for exercises and drills to help you move more fluidly to the rhythms of salsa and bachata.
From 1-2pm, the focus will be on salsa. We will work through levels, texture, and velocity in the salsa realm. Areas of focus include re-imagining your basic (flair), adding more depth to body movement (flavor), and adding some styling elements (spice).
From 2-3pm, the focus will be on bachata. Get ready to upgrade your bachata basics with footwork and hips. We will work through exercises that will help make your bachata flow more smoothly. We will also add styling options for more confidence.
These classes are all-level classes. All-level means that anyone from beginner to advanced can join. There will be modifications for levels, but everyone will take something home to practice! One must understand the basics and timing of salsa & bachata to better retain the information.
