Blackbeam are Back at Baggy!Blackbeam Cinematic Outdoor Cinema are returning to Baggy
Point, Croyde, with 2 dates of premier outdoor cinema on Friday 20th & Saturday 21st September 2024. Working in partnership with North Devon National Trust, to deliver a spectacular evening of cinema.
With a stunning back drop, premium quality Cinema and audio experience we'll be screening two all time epic films Jaws and E.T. The Extra Terrestrial.
During the event our very own Blackbeam Gintermission Bar will be open serving a range of refreshing drinks - you can pre order your drink to collect at the Blackbeam Bar when you purchase your cinema tickets online. Should your tastebuds bear towards a cosy drink The National Trust horse box will be available to keep you refreshed with hot and cold drinks and sweet treats
Stoned Pizza will be onsite serving up delicious wood fired pizzas, so come hungry, their pizzas really are as good as they look.

Will there be refreshments?
Yes, we would encourage you to support the high quality onsite refreshment offering. Blackbeam Gintermission Bar will be serving Gin & Tonic and a small selection of drinks. Stoned Pizza serving their delicious wood fired pizza.
Can we bring our own food and drink?
Yes, you are welcome to bring a picnic and what is reasonable for 1 person to drink. All we ask is you take any rubbish home.
Can I bring a chair?
Yes, please bring your own camping chair and/ or blanket, no seats are provided.
An area at the front will be reserved for people on blankets
Screening starts at the listed times, so please arrive in good time to get yourself seated comfortably and grab some refreshments.
What shall I bring?
Be prepared for all weather! We advise you to bring - insect repellant, umbrella, waterproofs, a torch, layers of warm clothing and blankets to keep you cosy.
Will the event go ahead in bad weather?
Yes, the screening will continue regardless of bad weather, please be prepared!
If bad weather deems the event unsafe, the event will be rescheduled. Ticket holders would be contacted directly if the event needed to be postponed or cancelled.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes well behaved dogs are welcome on leads.
Is the event accessible?
Pedestrian access is good with different methods of access to the site for vehicles and pedestrians. The land is relatively soft though not liable to flooding, disabled access is not specifically provided and specific pathways are not provided. People with special access requirements may request help, but may not be able to access the space unless accompanied by a dedicated helper.
Are there toilets on site?
Yes, toilets are located at the end of the carpark by the Sandleigh tea rooms.
Where can we park?
Yes, there is parking onsite, this is included in the ticket price. Please bring a torch, as it will be dark on your return to the car park.
Can I request a carers ticket?
Disabled people are welcome to request a free carers ticket once tickets have been purchased. Please email [email protected] to make your request stating your ticket booking reference number.
Do I need to print my ticket?
No, e-tickets can be shown at the gate either printed or on a smart phone/ tablet. We just need to scan the QR code.
What are the event timings?
Gates open at 18:30

Age restrictions
Yes, there is an age restriction for Jaws rated 12A. There will be no admittance to children under this age and children aged 12 and over must be accompanied by an adult. It is at the parent’s discretion if they are comfortable for their children to see some scenes that may be frightening.
