SAVE THE DATE! We have booked a Bag2School for Monday 11th November! A great opportunity for you to get rid of your unwanted items and raise money for our school!
Please put your unwanted items into black bin bags and leave them by the school office between 8-9 am on the day of collection. We unfortunately can not take any donations before this date due to lack of storage.
How it works:
Bag2school take good quality items that can be re-used.
They accept the following ‘good quality’ items for RE-USE:
Men’s, Ladies’ and Children’s clothing
Paired shoes (tied together or elastic band around)
Handbags
Hats
Bags
Scarves and ties
Jewellery
Lingerie
Socks
Belts
Soft toys
Household linen
Household curtains
Household towels
Household bedding (bed sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers)
They DO NOT accept:
Duvets and blankets
Pillows and cushions
Carpets, rugs and mats (including bath, shower and toilet mats)
Soiled, painted, ripped or wet clothing
School uniforms with and without logo
Corporate clothing and workwear
Textile off cuts, yarns or threaded material
What happens next:
The bags are collected by Bag2School, who provide funds to schools based on the weight of the collections. For further information please visit https://bag2school.com
The funds collected for the school have had a significant positive impact on our children. Contributions to FOHNS have led to reduced expenses for school trips, resulting in lower costs for parents and carers, while enabling children to participate in enriching experiences.
