The Baer Blacksmith Shop at McClellan Ranch Preserve may look like just another building—but it holds a piece of Cupertino’s history dating back to the 1880s.Originally located at the crossroads of Stevens Creek and De Anza Boulevard, this fully restored blacksmith shop was relocated to McClellan Ranch to help preserve and share our community’s past.
Stop by between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to see the forge in action and watch live demonstrations from an experienced metalworker. Learn how blacksmiths shaped early Cupertino—one strike at a time.
