Bad Words for a Good Cause brings a stacked night of stand-up comedy to the beautiful York County Cider in support of the Fredericton SPCA. Expect sharp jokes, huge laughs, and a room full of people coming together to help local animals.

The Lineup

🎤 Host – Jeremy Scott

A familiar face in the Fredericton comedy scene, Jeremy hosts the popular local showcase This Mighr Be Funny and is building a growing audience with his podcast The Jeremy Scott Program.

🎤 Feature – Nisa Kennedy

One of the most exciting new comics to hit the scene, Nisa burst onto the stage in 2024 with confident stage presence and sharp writing that immediately turned heads.

🎤 Headliner – Michael Harrison

An award-winning comedian, actor, filmmaker, and podcaster who performs around the world. Michael has a Dry Bar Comedy special, a nationally aired Comedy Network special, and the comedy album “Freak Laugh.” His Amazon special “Overcritical” showcases the sharp, intelligent comedy that’s taken him to major festivals including Just For Laughs Montreal and the New York Comedy Festival.

Outside of stand-up, Michael has appeared on television including NBC’s The Bridge, Amazon’s A Good Cop, and Queer as Folk. His satirical short films have earned awards including Best Actor in a Comedy (Best Actor Awards NY) and recognition at Just For Laughs. He’s also the creator of the hit improv podcast Character Debates, featuring top New York comics debating in outrageous characters.
