Bad River Documentary Screening

The Superior American Indian Education Parent Advisory Committee (AIEPAC), is proud to announce a special screening of the documentary "Bad River" at the Superior High School Performing Arts Center (PAC) on March 6th, 2024. This event will open its doors at 5:30 PM and will include a thought-provoking discussion accompanied by light refreshments and snacks following the screening. Admission is free and open to the public.

"Bad River" is a compelling documentary that delves into the intricacies of the Bad River Band of the Lake Superior Tribe of Chippewa Indians, exploring themes of heritage, community, and the environment. This screening seeks to foster awareness, understanding, and dialogue regarding the cultural and environmental issues highlighted in the film.

The event will provide an engaging platform for community members to come together and discuss the important topics raised in the documentary. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in an open discussion session, facilitated by knowledgeable members of the Indigenous community and experts in related fields.
