Natives are funny. Growing up, the funniest people in Navajo comedian Joshua Emerson's life, were Native. NDN. Indigenous. But when he started pursuing comedy as a profession, he noticed the distinct lack of Indigenous presence. That's when he decided to start BAD INDIAN, a Native comedy show with two missions: to develop and platform Indigenous comedians. Been making audiences laugh with Sacred humor since 2021, this show has been put on in more states (and territories) and put on more Native comics than any other Native show on Turtle Island, including being featured at Netflix is a Joke, SF Sketchfest, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
