🍇 BAD GYAL BASS 🍇 is a fresh club concept blending bass music together with feminine energy. It focuses on diverse flavours from the broader UK bass scene, featuring everything from bassline and garage to dub, UK funky, bruk and grime — in other words, expect bass-oriented sounds designed for the dancefloor! Behind BAD GYAL BASS are the two bad gyal DJs Mary Young and Niffi D, with each event introducing a VIP guest DJ to the mix — starting with guest selector Ninjet 🍑🐴🍑
At the core of the BAD GYAL BASS concept are positive energy, attitude and community. For us, ‘feminine energy’ is not about the gender of our performers — it’s a feeling that flows from the music we curate, how we perform and the inclusive environment we create. This can manifest itself, for example, in spotlighting female-identifying MCs and producers, in conscious track choices, and in the creation of a welcoming space where everyone can let their inner bad gyal loose — on both sides of the booth!

The inaugural BAD GYAL BASS event takes place on Friday 13th February at Tanner on Hämeentie 11. The event itself is FREE with doors 23-03. DJs on the night are Niffi D, Mary Young and our first special guest — Ninjet! 🍒🍒🍒
