Bacon's College Sixth Form Open Evening

We are dedicated to bringing out the best in every single student through inspiring and challenging them to fulfill their potential. Our guiding principle is to prepare our young people for success beyond Sixth Form, fostering responsibility through independence.

In 2025, over a quarter (26%) of all A Level entries at the school were awarded the top grades of A* or A, with nearly two thirds (63%) graded at A* to B. This included some particularly stand-out performances in STEM-related subjects, enabling a number of students to secure exceptional university courses in top STEM fields.

Results for vocational equivalent courses followed a similar trend, with almost a quarter (73%) of BTEC entries achieving the highest possible grades of Distinction or Distinction* and 100% achieving at least a Merit.

At our Sixth Form Open Evening you'll be able to meet the Sixth Form team and teaching staff for each subject, along with our current students, to find out about all of the courses that we offer and what it's like to study here. You'll also be able to tour our school, sports centre and gym, and learn about the exceptional added value that we offer to pour students, including:
