During her three years living in the city she wrote hundreds of letters home to her little sister Dottie, which offer a raw first person — and frequently hilarious — account of her adventures, which include everything from her learning to snowshoe and canoe, to witnessing the city’s first murder in three decades.
Andrew MacLean of Backyard History, and voice actors and actresses from the Backyard History podcast will be giving a free talk about Juliana Horatia Ewing, who has made frequent appearances in the newspaper columns, podcast, and books!
