Backyard Astrophotography

We're pleased welcome Richard to the Cone where he will take you on a journey into deep space with images taken from his backyard in Kingswinford.
Richard is a local, long term astronomy enthusiast and photographer of the night sky. He has produced some award winning images from his 'light polluted' backyard, dispelling the myth that good astrophotography can only be achieved in designated dark sky areas!
Richard will amaze you with his stunning images of the milky way, galaxies and countless nebulae as well as sharing some of the secrets he has learnt along the way.
There will also be an opportunity to purchase Richards prints from our gift shop during your visit.
Please note the talk will take place in our Upper Gallery. There is a lift to the first floor and then two steps into the gallery.
