Backstage with Bill Kirchen Part Two

Bill Kirchen, The Titan Of The Telecaster, returns to Backstage At The Sanctuary to talk about his career, tell some old stories and to play some new songs from his latest album, “Cat Out Of The Bag” and some old songs from his 5 decades on the road.

Bill’s story begins with his high school talent show where he shared the stage with his classmate Iggy Pop to being a pioneer of the Americana and Outlaw Country music genres with the original hippie country band, Commander Cody and his Lost Planet Airmen. Kirchen has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in rock n roll including Nick Lowe, Elvis Costello, John Lennon and Stevie Wonder and his good friend Ray Benson and Asleep At The Wheel.
