🎒 Backpack Sunday – August 9
The start of a new school year is just around the corner, and we have a meaningful opportunity to support students in our community as they prepare for the first day.
Join us on Sunday, August 9 at 10:45 am for Backpack Sunday, a special worship service where we will take time to pray over students, teachers, and school staff as they begin a new year. Together, we will ask for God’s guidance, protection, and blessing for the year ahead.
Following the service, we will host a School Supply Giveaway at Noon, providing free supplies to help students start the year prepared and confident.
Help Us Make a Difference
In the weeks leading up to Backpack Sunday, we are collecting backpacks and essential school supplies. You can make a simple but powerful impact by picking up a few extra items during your next shopping trip.
Needed items include:
Backpacks (elementary and high school sizes)
Crayons, markers, and colored pencils
Notebooks, loose-leaf paper, and folders
Pencils, pens, child-safe scissors, and glue sticks
Donations can be placed in the collection box in the front entryway.
