Ready to go back to school to chase that Scholastic Book Fair high?Join Black Cat Books & Oddities, authors, and vendors at Medina High School's Performing Arts Center (851 Weymouth Rd., Medina) to get nostalgic about the book fair once again on January 31, 2026, from 2-7 p.m.
Here's what you can expect:
🐈⬛ Hang out with all your favorite people from your childhood:
-Miss Frizzle
-The one really nice lunch lady who always snuck you some extra snacks
-That one really overzealous gym teacher who's always chewing gum for some reason
🐈⬛ Take some really embarrassing yearbook photos with your friends
🐈⬛ For every $10 you spend at a booth, you'll earn "Classroom Cash" that you can spend at the Prize Table on all the little doodads that will make your parents sigh and say, “I gave you money for BOOKS.” (Note: Each admission ticket also comes with Classroom Cash to spend!)
🐈⬛ Take on the "Teacher's Pet" challenge to earn even more Classroom Cash!
🐈⬛ Remember when you had to cover all your books in brown paper bags? Pepperidge Farm remembers. Bring a book to swap (or buy one at the event), wrap it, and decorate it at our super-kewl Book Swap tables. Then, take a wrapped book that strikes your fancy.
🐈⬛ Grab yourself a delicious and nostalgic cafeteria snack from the lunch ladies. You know the ones you always dug around looking for spare change for a little something to look forward to at school?
