Back to the Basics: Beyond The Culture War
About this Event
Today's political and cultural climate often pressures us to choose a side, defend a tribe, and view those who disagree as opponents to defeat. Yet followers of Jesus are called to something greater. Our primary identity is not found in a political party or ideology, but in the Kingdom of God.
Join AND Campaign Atlanta for a thoughtful conversation about what it means to maintain a distinctly Christian witness in an increasingly polarized culture.
Together, we'll explore:
- What Scripture teaches about our identity as citizens of God's Kingdom before any earthly nation or political movement.
- How Christians can hold deep convictions while practicing humility, charity, and love toward those with whom they disagree.
- The ways both conservative and progressive political movements can shape—or distort—our Christian witness.
- How believers can engage difficult cultural issues with courage, wisdom, and hope while remaining faithful to the gospel.
Rather than asking which political tribe Christians should belong to, this conversation asks a more important question: How can we faithfully represent Christ in the public square?
Whether you're feeling exhausted by today's political climate, looking for a healthier way to engage difficult issues, or seeking to better reflect the character of Christ in your civic life, we invite you to join us for an evening of thoughtful discussion and meaningful conversation.
