🎸 IT’S BACK!!! 🎉The Reef Hotel Casino is taking you back to the 80’s, when the guitar solos were long, the sound was big, and the fashion was as loud as the music. For two nights only, local act Big Noise with the support of DJBEasy will take you on a musical time warp with an 80’s SOUND and VISUAL experience so good you’ll want to tease your hair.
Frontman Adrian Cartwright will be rolling out hit after hit with band members Jock Williamson, Dale Monaghan and Brad Townsend, covering all the 80s hits from Brit New Wave to American anthem to NZ pop and Aussie rock.
Following on from the previous success of 80’s parties, Entertainment Manager Bruce Stewart says, “There has been so much positive feedback and response to these fun nights that we must keep rolling them out. We just have ta!!!”
On Friday 17 and Saturday 18 of April from 9pm at BAR36 inside The Reef Hotel Casino you can hit pause on 2026 and rewind back to the 1980’s where the Nintendo was born, Halley’s Comet whizzed by, and everyone was bamboozled by the Rubiks cube.
If this is your first journey to the 80’s you are in for an unforgettable night. If you were there the first time you already know what to do. “We were blown away how many people dressed up in 80S gear!” “A great surprise” says band member Jock.
