About this Event
After a long summer we all could use a little sharpening up before we take on the whirlwind of Q4. So this autumn, Roxhill brings you a series of journalist-led sessions aimed at giving you and your team members the inspiration you need to bring new ideas and new energy to your journalist pitches.Back to School x Roxhill Media is a series of three workshops led by Steph Spyro, Deputy Political Editor and Dan Townend Assistant Editor. They will concentrate on new ways to spot media coverage opportunities, the details in a pitch that really make journalists sit up and take notice, and a final session on how to make STEM subjects more palatable to editors and writers.
The journalists running all three sessions are:

- Dan Townend, Assistant Editor, Daily Express
Steph and Dan run the Off the Record Substack newsletter giving insight into how PR teams can work with the media more effectively.
If you’d like your juniors to get a better understanding of what good writing really looks like and to gain some top coverage tips, we are here to help.
