Back to School Treasure Hunt - Pick Up Your School Supplies!

Ahoy, Pirates! Get ready to kick off the new school year with excitement, connection, and community at Piper’s inaugural Back to School Treasure Hunt Celebration on Saturday, August 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Piper High School.
This exciting new event was inspired directly by feedback gathered through our community forums, particularly conversations surrounding Vision Priority #5: Highly Engaged Family, Community, and Business Partnerships. Families shared a desire for more opportunities to connect, learn about community resources, and become engaged in their students’ educational journey before the school year begins. From those conversations, the idea for a welcoming, all-inclusive back-to-school celebration was born.
The Back to School Treasure Hunt Celebration is designed to bring together students, families, staff, businesses, and community organizations in one place to celebrate the start of a new school year. Whether you’re new to the district or a longtime Piper family, this event offers something for everyone.
What to expect at the event:
- Pick up your student(s) school supplies (bags will be separated by grade level) - school supplies are FREE
- Community partners and vendors on site welcoming students and families
- Hot dogs, chips and bounce houses will provide entertainment and fun for students and families
- Find ways to get involved with community organizations including Piper Educational Foundation, Piper Optimist, Piper PTA, and more
- Complete the treasure hunt by visiting multiple booths and receive a FREE SWAG bag
