Special Kids Connect is thrilled to be collaborating with Monterey County SELPA in offering our 3rd Annual Back to School Special Education Conference on Saturday, August 16 at Hartnell College. There will be something for every parent who has a child between the ages of 3 and 22 with special education needs. Workshops will cover topics including IEPs, challenging behaviors, social skills, mental health, supported decision making as a limited conservatorship alternative, and more! AND, we'll have resources on hand for you to get additional information. Did we mention that lunch is also included? (Oh, yeah!)
Conference pre-registration is required (https://forms.gle/Rkk8RpAweayVazo1A). We ask that you register only if you are sure you can attend because space is limited. Child care is also available for conference attendees who pre-register at a cost of $10/child. Space is extremely limited for child care so if you are interested in this offering, sign up soon.
