This fall, Aurora Autism Centers is offering a 7-week Social Skills Group where children can practice meaningful social skills alongside peers in a fun, supportive environment. 💚
Led by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), and Occupational Therapist (OT), participants will be placed in age-based groups with similar-aged peers, with activities and opportunities tailored to each group. Through play, conversation, games, and group activities, participants will have opportunities to practice skills like:
✨ Engaging and connecting with peers
✨ Conversation and functional communication
✨ Turn-taking, cooperation, and flexibility
✨ Joining and participating in group activities
✨ Navigating everyday social situations
✨ Building confidence in a group setting
