Join Commissioner Alexandra Davis for a Back-to-School Shoe Giveaway for Broward County students and families on July 11 in Pembroke Pines.
About this Event

As summer continues, we are preparing students and families for a successful school year.

Broward County Commissioner Alexandra P. Davis is proud to host a Back-to-School Shoe Giveaway in partnership with the Children’s Services Council of Broward County and the City of Pembroke Pines on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Pembroke Pines Senior Center.

Free pairs of shoes will be available for Broward County students while supplies last. A free food giveaway will also be available for the first 250 families.

Children must be present to receive shoes. Each child may receive one pair of shoes while supplies last.

Families may also have the opportunity to connect with Broward County Public Schools support services regarding school uniform assistance. A Memorial mobile unit is also expected to be on site.

All items are available while supplies last.
