back to school series: improv workshop

arriving, connecting, softening is an improvisational workshop offering to engage with turning our focus both inward and outward to connect with the body as home and with our co-movers. We engage with refusal and anti-urgency as a way to realize different ways of being in and relating to the world. The workshop will begin with a gentle warm up and then go into improvisational practices of connection with others in the room, self-nourishment, and close with a departure practice. No movement experience required, just a willingness to be present together.

Shawl Anderson is a low-scent environment, so please refrain from wearing perfumes or highly scented body products.
