Our teachers are heroes who go above and beyond every single day! 💙We know that so many of our incredible educators dip into their own pockets during those first days of school to make sure every student has what they need to succeed. That's why the NAACP Greater Fairbanks is stepping up to help our teachers stock up on supplies so they can continue supporting students without the financial burden.
We're hosting a School Supply Pop-Up Drive on Saturday, September 13th from 10 AM - 2 PM at the JP Jones Center in Fairbanks!
Can't make it that day? No problem! You can drop off donations early at the Native Movement Office, 60 Hall Street, Fairbanks, Wednesday 3rd through Thursday 11th, 9 AM - 5 PM (closed Fridays).
What we need most:
Backpacks and bags
Healthy snacks (granola bars, fruit snacks, protein bars)
Writing supplies (pencils, pens, markers, highlighters)
Basic supplies (scissors, erasers, glue sticks)
Paper products (notebooks, loose paper, index cards, sticky notes)
Travel-sized toiletries (deodorant, pads, toothbrushes, lotion)
