Get your family ready for the new school year at the Back to School Giveback on Saturday, August 29, from 1PM – 4PM at Palisades Center, Level 1 near H&M! In partnership with the Bronx Visionary Foundation, this free community event is packed with fun activities and valuable resources for local families.
Children can receive free school supplies (while supplies last), enjoy character meet & greets, free haircuts, free manicures, photo booth and crafts, and music from DJ Rasheen. New York Life will also be providing free Child ID fingerprinting, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rockland will be on-site to share information about their mentoring programs and community resources.
To receive free school supplies, a parent or guardian must attend the event with their child. School supplies are available for students in grades K–8 while supplies last. Registration is required by August 12, 2026. To register your child, email [email protected].
