Fleenor Security and Rise Up are teaming up to help Johnson City kids return to school confident and ready. Free supplies, free haircuts, free food: no registration, no cost, just show up.
When: Saturday, July 18, 2026 · 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Where: Rise Up · 1500 E. Millard St., Johnson City, TN 37601
Cost: Free and open to the community
NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Supplies and food are first-come, first-served.
For Our Kiddos and Our Community
Backpacks, school supplies, haircuts, food, snow cones, face painting, inflatables, and games—all free, all day, no registration required.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to receive supplies and participate in activities.
School supplies and backpacks are available while supplies last.
ABOUT THE EVENT
For the second year in a row, Fleenor Security is proud to partner with Rise Up to host the Back to School Bash in Johnson City.
We believe that when East Tennessee thrives, we all benefit. That's why every summer, we show up for the families and kids who make this community what it is with everything they need to start the school year strong.
This event is free, open to everyone, and built around one idea: neighbors taking care of neighbors.
“For us, this event isn't about promoting our business. It's about giving back to local families, helping students start the school year with confidence, and creating a day filled with smiles, encouragement, and hope.
If a backpack, fresh haircut, meal, or afternoon of fun helps lighten the load for even one family, then we've accomplished exactly what we set out to do. We look forward to seeing everyone on July 18 from 2:00–4:00 PM at Rise Up, 1500 E. Millard Street.
