Back to School Bash!

For the last 4+ years, Oaks has taken time in August to hand out school supplies and/or backpacks to kids in need in our community. This year is no different except we want to do more and give back BIGGER.
SAVE THE DATE - 8/22 from 11a-1p for our annual Back to School Bash (must be a Monroe County resident)! We will have:
-Hot Dogs
-School Supplies (must shop according to your list- more details will be given soon)
-Backpacks
and this year we will also have a "thrift tent" where every kid (pending size and quantity) can get an outfit or two (one bag each kid) for the school year!
HOW can you help?
First, if you plan to come, REGISTER PLEASE!
Second, HOST A BOX! CALLING ALL CHURCHES, BUSINESSES, AND GROUPS- we are in need of as many friends as possible to put a box out during the month of July collecting backpacks, and school supplies. We also are ALWAYS in need of all sizes k-12 in school tennis shoes (we'd love to have a big bin of these at the thrift tent)! So, please contact Chelsea if you would be willing to partner with us in this BIG way!
