This is a FUN event to support the Northern Extension of the Simon Kenton Trail in Bellefontaine, OH. Join us to fill the path by riding, running or walking the distance of your choice. Bikes will leave the trailhead between 8-9:30am with walkers and runners leaving between 9:30-10:30am. This is an informal event and you will be using the path as you would normally, whatever distance. No additional support services will be available.
While there is no fee to participate, donations will be accepted through the registration site and the day of the event to help support future trail amenities. The first amenity will be the addition of a shelter house and bike repair station at the Carter Avenue Trailhead. Excess funds will be used for future improvements. Because amenities can be a great help in increasing usage, the combination may help obtain grant funding for future development as well.
