Veterans and First Responders (adults only) are invited to this free weekly workshop with horses, Thursdays at 8 am August through September. Workshop is facilitated by Jake Huber, US Army Ret.
Equine therapy uses the relationship between horses and veterans to treat Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) by providing a non-judgmental, safe space for emotional expression and healing. Horses, as perceptive prey animals, offer immediate, honest, and non-verbal feedback, helping veterans and First Responders develop emotional regulation, build trust, and improve self-esteem.
