Vanessa & Maria are thrilled to offer our Bay Area ladies a Bachata Sensual styling collaboration workshop on Dec 7th from 4-6pm at Arete Dance Center, Los Altos!Maria Tumansky has been dancing professionally for over 25 years. Her background is ballroom, Latin and Standard dancing. She is World ChaChaCha Champion, World Bachata Finalist, and US S1 Ballroom Standard Champion. Maria has been teaching Bachata Ladies Styling for several years and it's her biggest passion and way of sharing her inspiration with women.
Vanessa has been teaching Bachata Sensual for 6 years and was among the first to bring the style to the Bay Area. She started her dance company, Como el Agua, in 2019 and has been teaching group classes, and directing ladies and couples teams throughout the Bay and beyond ever since! Her greatest love is the amazing community that's been built through Como el Agua, known for it's positive and uplifting energy, and genuine care for the growth and well-being of each and every member.
In this 2-hour workshop, we will each teach our unique styling techniques and a short choreo. We will then combine both into a collab choreo, and video our class 'performance' at the end.
Fee - $40 (Venmo Vanessa-Nudd), $45 at the door
